Today we’re pleased to welcome the team from Preact to Spotify! Launched in 2012, Preact is a cloud-based service that helps companies acquire new subscribers and retain current customers. The team at Preact specializes in predicting and informing consumer behavior around subscription sign-ups and upgrades through advanced analytics, behavioral science and machine learning techniques.
“Finding the trends and behavior patterns in our data that correlate with paid subscriptions is incredibly valuable,” said Jason Richman, VP Product at Spotify. “The addition of Preact to Spotify’s team will help us design experiences that grow our premium customer base.”
The Preact team will be based in Spotify’s New York City and San Francisco offices.
