Gustav Söderström

Gustav is responsible for Spotify’s product strategies, as well as overseeing the product engineering team.

Before joining Spotify, Gustav was director of product and business development for Yahoo! Mobile. Gustav was also CEO and co-founder of Swedish mobile software company Kenet Works, which was acquired by Yahoo! in 2006.

In 2006, Gustav was named Swedish IT entrepreneur of the year by Internet Magazine. The following year, he was voted one of Sweden’s 50 most influential people under 40 by career networking site Shortcut.

Gustav lives and works in Stockholm with his wife Ida, and sons Vegas and Aston. When not scouring the web for new technology or phenomena, Gustav is building spectacular Lego models of Star Trek starships, or can be found in Thai boxing classes.
